This book aims to find a suggested program that uses electronic engineering to develop traffic services in the cities of Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam. The book has five chapters. The first chapter studies the problem of the study and its objectives, and importance. It clarifies the idioms that the researcher uses in the book. The second chapter discusses the theoretical framework of the study which is divided into four dimensions: firstly, the General Directorate of the Traffic. Secondly, reengineering the operations. Thirdly, electronic work environment and the ways of developing it. Fourthly, experiments and their international and Arab applications. In Chapter three, the researcher mentions 13 studies during 1999 -2000 that concentrated on traffic problems in International, Arab, and national environments. The study tries to get the benefit from all these papers regarding the applications of electronic engineering in traffic fields. The fourth chapter studies the methodological framework of the study where it discusses the limitations, community, and tools of the study, and its applications in the traffic directorates of Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam. The chapter explains also the statistical methods used in this research. It concentrates on three groups of people who are related to the traffic process , and the are: First, the Traffic Directorate’s licensing department’s workers. Second, the Beneficiaries from the services of the Traffic Directorate. Third, the directors of departments of the Traffic Directorate in Riyadh , Jeddah, and Dammam . In the fifth chapter, the researcher applies the methodology of the study and then analyzes the data and explains the results. This methodology applies four stages : First, The preparation for the reengineering. Second, exploring the opportunities of improvement. Third, Redesigning process. Fourth, designing the suggested program. Chapter six displays the results and states the recommendations of the study that encourage the use of modern electronic engineering in traffic.en
