The increased care of criminal statistics caused to raise sum relationships between crime and several variables, most important one was age. Several studies and researches have discussed the relationship between criminals and the crime type, size, motive and commitment methods. This book aims to identify the rate of elderly crime in the Arab world, by determining this rate and compare it with other ages. And also to identify the characteristics of elderly criminals -demographical or social characteristics- by talking about type, age, occupation, religion and others. The book aims also to determine types of elderly crimes and the criminal pattern of them. Then it recognizes elderly residents compared to other ages in prisons. According to the results, there is a clear disparity in elderly crime as numbers and rates in different parts of the Arab World. The book confirms the elderly does not benefit from prison, he does not learn an occupation for example where his health does not help to have a job after his penalty finishes, and also the elderly gets out of the prison to face life after a long separation from his acquaintance, finally he is not in a healthful and psychological status which can help him to bond with others again as a normal citizen, and even the monetary aids will not be enough for him to have a new beginning.
